Zerion has partnered with Let's Talk Coffee® as Technology Sponsor for the Let's Talk Coffee / Let's Talk Roya Conference!

iFormBuilder's Chris Reichert at Let's Talk Coffee 2012

Let's Talk Coffee® 2013 is specialty coffee's premier conference and training event hosted by Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers. Every October, professionals across the globe come together to share fresh insights, examine how to bring the sustainability of the industry to scale, and celebrate the strong network of partnerships that have been created over 15 years working in specialty coffee.

As one partner states it:

"We wanted to recognize the effort of the outstanding coffee growers that currently exist in the region and introduce them to the market properly." -David Piza, Sustainable Harvest

Zerion joined this important event last year, as CBO Chris Reichart spoke to them about offline mobile data collection. Zerion's unique offline collection tool, with editable electronic forms, can be used with a wi-fi connection for real-time data collection, or offline on each device, for data to be gathered when the user is back in range.

From the LTC Program:

Traceability: Innovation and Efficiency
This session will highlight three innovative traceability and data collection systems currently in use in Latin America and Africa. The discussion will focus on the contexts and considerations necessarily for successful deployment and the longterm return on investment (ROI) for the entire value chain.

Reichart is joined by Paul Goodman, AcopioPlus, USA and Jenais Zarlin, access.mobile, USA, as they help create a map towards efficiency.

New this year is Let's Talk Roya, an event that follows LTC, covering impact from the Roya virus that has decimated many coffee crops. This show brings together those impacted by Roya in Latin America to learn about the disease, coordinate recovery, and mitigate the long-term consequences of the outbreak. Organized by Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers, Let's Talk Roya offers a place for everyone with a stake in ending the crisis to meet face to face about an issue that affects multiple industries and millions of workers.

Chris will be keeping us up-to-date on LTC/LTR happenings, while also promoting the power of Zerion.
