Can mobile data collection make your company more valuable?

The idea behind the the  BioRisk mobile safety app is to assist institutions and labs in achieving compliance with easy-to-use Lab/EHS audit/inspection forms and assessment tools. The app will work on any ioS smart device, and collect data offline or online. Now, a new article suggests that our unique form building tool might help a company's bottom line, as well.

"In a new study, firms with strong health, wellness and safety programs bested the S&P 500 average rate of return in investment simulations."

The article focuseson a study published in the September issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the official publication of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The hypothesis behind this is tested from a business standpoint: Those companies that have a better record of safety and EHS Compliance were, over a period of almost ten years, more successful than the S&P Index.

As the study progressed, safety award-winning companies outperformed the S&P consistently, with one observer stating that:

"the results strongly support the view that focusing on health and safety of a workforce is good business."
